  • Points Race Today

    (KENT, Wash) – Track drying began at 6 a.m. today (Sunday, April 14) in preparation of the first points race of the season in the Swift Tool ET Drag Race Series at Pacific Raceways. The water-logged spring has contributed to the first two races of the season being washed out. The forecast today calls for partly cloudy skies for much of the day. A rain shower last night left the track wet early this morning. It is anticipated that the track will be dry by 10:30 this morning.

  • County Council Approves Raceways’ Ordinance

    (SEATTLE, Wash) – The King County Council today (Monday, March 19) approved an amendment to an ordinance relating to the development of a regional motor sports facility at Pacific Raceways in Kent. On a vote of 7-2, the council paved the way for a master planning demonstration project for the raceway.

  • 2012 Drag Race Schedule…It’s Going to be a Great Year!

    (KENT, Wash) – It’s an earlier start and a later finish to the 2012 Pacific Raceways’ drag race schedule in 2012! And in between the first test and tune March 18 and the last Gambler’s race Oct. 21 there are 11 Summit Racing Equipment team point races, more full-day weekend races and something for every type of drag racer…and we’re not done yet.
