(KENT, Wash) – Work continues this weekend on improvements to Pacific Raceways’ drag strip. The old concrete launch pad was removed earlier this week and new concrete will be poured through the weekend.
Races scheduled for this week including the All High School Drags Presented by Primus International, Pep Boys Service & Tire Centers, Green River Community College and Bracketstars have been rescheduled. The high school drag race has been moved to Saturday, June 9th.

(KENT, Wash) – Pacific Raceways’ venerable drag strip will get a much anticipated upgrade starting this weekend as work crews prepare a portion of the racing surface for replacement. Plans call for complete replacement of the first 330 feet of track plus the burnout area behind the starting line.

(KENT, Wash) – The fastest road racing bikes in the Northwest will be racing at Pacific Raceways’ historic 2.25 mile road course this weekend. Racing action for Washington Motorcycle Road Race Association (WMRRA) begins at 9 a.m. each day and lasts until 5 p.m.
