Both the road course and the drag strip will feature special discounts to the military.

Pacific Raceways will be hosting a full weekend of racing activity that is sure to please race fans of any type...and it appears that Mother Nature will cooperate as well!  Both the road course and the drag strip will feature special discounts to the military.

The International Race Drivers Challenge (IRDC) will take to the historic 2.25 mile road course for a Friday, Saturday and Sunday event with the race series' Third Annual Military Salute Grand Prix featuring a variety of sports cars and classes.  Tickets are $8 with military members and their families receiving free admission.  Check out IRDC's website for additional info at www.irdc-racing.com.  Class finals begin on Sunday afternoon.

Friday evening it's drag racing on the famed quarter-mile featuring the first Car Club Challenge race of the season; Jr Dragsters' second points race, and Test and Tune racing action.  Saturday night it's the Big Boys of Drag Racing with the Pawn X-Change Drag Race Series race number four with racers itching to go fast to make up for two previous rain outs.  It's a special Support Our Troops Race.  Additional information is available here http://www.pacificraceways.com/schedule/11-05-21/PAWN_X-CHANGE_DRAG_RACE_4_Support_Our_Troops.aspx.
