Qualifying and racing action for the Third Annual IRDC Military Salute Grand Prix will take place this Sunday, May 22nd. The Pre-Race Ceremony featuring the National Anthems and Color Guard Presentation begins at noon with racing slated to begin at 1 p.m.
(KENT, Wash) - Qualifying and racing action for the Third Annual IRDC Military Salute Grand Prix will take place this Sunday, May 22nd. The Pre-Race Ceremony featuring the National Anthems and Color Guard Presentation begins at noon with racing slated to begin at 1 p.m. All Groups will get their final qualifying run beginning just after 9 a.m.
There will be six separate championship races - each race lasting 30 minutes - with multiple sports car racing classes.
Tickets are $8 with Military members and their families receiving free admission. Children 15 and under, who are accompanied by an adult, are admitted free. Check the IRDC website for other specials.
IRDC was founded in 1970 and is the Western Washington area member club of the International Conference of Sports Car Clubs (ICSCC). The ICSCC was formed to provide a less expensive alternative to the sports car enthusiast whose interests lay in regional competition.
