WELCOME TO CHUMPCAR / ROLL-X CHALLENGE
The Optima Batteries ChumpCar World Series is beyond stoked to be collaborating with the Roll-X Series and be making our debut at one of the Pacific Northwest's most historic venues... Pacific Raceways! Built in 1960, these hallowed racing grounds have featured a who's who of international racing legends including Dan Gurney, Parnelli Jones, and Phil Hill.
And now along comes our high performance, finely tuned motorsport miracles...also known as the $500 race car! Join us for two days (7 hours each day) of amazing wheel-to-wheel racing on this 2.25 mile road course, which offers racers a challenging nine-turn circuit.

WELCOME ROLL-X TEAMS: SPECIAL RULES EXEMPTIONS
In the spirit of this collaboration, ChumpCar will be giving all previous Roll-X teams (ie, who have not previously run with ChumpCar) a one-time break for this race on the following rules:
However, for safety reasons, we do ask that you secure your permanent car number with us, as well as your door panel number background panels outlined in Rules Section 9.5, and discussed later in this document which can purchased at the ChumpStore at www.ChumpCar.com.
WE NEED VOLUNTEERS & YOU LOVE TO EARN RACE CREDITS
We're looking for folks to work as pit marshals, pit in/out, etc. If you have extra folks with your posse who want to help earn race credit, please contact us ASAP at email@example.com. $100 in ChumpChange (race entry credits) per day! We're also looking for experienced corner workers; please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Drive Pacific Raceways' historic 2.25-mile road course in your own car! High Performance Sport Driving Days are designed for Novice - Seasoned Sport Driving - Advanced/Full Race. Drivers are group according to ability. Novice drivers receive classroom and in-car instruction from ProFormance Racing School.
*additional drivers for same car $100
Spectators are FREE
Sport Driving takes place rain or shine
Course is staffed with Safety Team and Flag Marshals
Gates open at 7:30 a.m.
Mandatory driver's meeting at 8:30 a.m.
Track time 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Winter 2014 Schedule
All drivers must show current, legal driver's license. Snell SA2000 or better racing helmet is required. Newer convertibles with factory-installed "hoops" are permitted. No passengers are allowed.
Season Sport Driving Group - drivers need to have documented or proven experience at Pacific Raceways at club level
Advanced/Race Car Group may be divided into open and closed wheel.
Racing Karts are permitted with prior approval from Pacific Raceways. No motorcycles are allowed.

Mother Nature got the best of us...we're canceled for the day. Thank you to the racers and fans who came out and to the crew for putting in the time to get the track ready. Our next drag test and tune is Saturday, March 15.
(KENT, Wash) -- It's March and we are open this morning for High Performance Sport Driving! A mandatory driver's meeting is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. at the Proformance Racing School - on the east end of the paddock.
(KENT, Wash) – The Sunday, Feb. 23 drag test and tune has been cancelled due to inclement weather.
(KENT, Wash) – Mother Nature looks like she might cooperate for the Sunday, March 23 drag test & tune, though, as we know, Northwest weather can change quickly in late February.
(KENT, Wash) – Picking up two wins during the season, Pacific Raceways’ Sportsman Champion Paul Young won the inaugural Winter Tree Practice Series on Saturday. Young, who bowed out after the second round of the final event at The Sports Page in Auburn, finished the season with 264 points, only 17-points in front of series runner-up Dawn Whitman.
(KENT, Wash) – Pacific Raceways is offering a special promotion to racers and club members who utilize the 2.25-mile road course. A Racer Appreciation Day is planned for Friday, May 24 with a discounted entry fee of $160.
(KENT, Wash) – Our friends at Team Seattle will host a send –off party and fund raising event at Pacific Raceways on Sunday, Jan. 13 for its race teams heading to the 51st Annual Rolex 24 at Daytona. The event – sponsored by Barrier Motors – is open to the public. All proceeds benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital.
(KENT, Wash) – Vintage sports cars are on track through Sunday as the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts in the Northwest (SOVREN) revs up their engines at Pacific Raceways.
(KENT, Wash) – The fastest road racing bikes in the Northwest will be racing at Pacific Raceways’ historic 2.25 mile road course this weekend. Racing action for Washington Motorcycle Road Race Association (WMRRA) begins at 9 a.m. each day and lasts until 5 p.m.
