Q. Can I bring my pet?
A. Yes, if it is on a leash and you are prepared to scoop up any messes.
Q. Do I have to buy a pit pass?
A. No. This is part of what makes racing at Pacific Raceways so special. Every ticket is a pit pass, allowing you and your family to get close to the drivers and cars.
Q. Can I get drivers' autographs?
A. Yes. During the NHRA Nationals drivers are available for autographs in their pits at specific times. Keep in mind that on race day, drivers, like all athletes, are concentrating on the task ahead. Check our web site and local newspapaers for information about pre-race driver appearances around the Puget Sound area. At all other events, drivers are often available at any time and willing to sign autographs for anyone who asks nicely.
Q. Can I buy tickets in advance?
A. Advance tickets sales are available for the following events in 2006: NHRA National Opener, Lucas Oil Points Race, Armageddon-Eve of Destruction, NHRA Northwest Nationals and the Bret Chevrolet Stock Car Challenge Weekend. For all other events tickets will be sold the day of the event at Pacifc Raceways. For additional ticket prices and information, call (253) 639-5927 ext. 108.
Q. Is there a place to buy souveniers?
A. Official Pacific Raceways merchandise is available at the Pacific Raceways Pro Shop, which is located behind the Snack Bar by Grandstand B. At larger events multiple vendors and sales locations will be available throughout the facility to supply your race gear needs.
Q. What facilities will be available if I have a medical problem?
A. At all Pacific Raceways racing events there are Emergency Medical personnel situated at the facility. In the event medical assistance is needed, contact any Pacific Raceways employee or event staff, give them the location of the situation, and first aid will be contacted immediately.
Q. What dining, lodging, and entertainment facilities are available in the area?
A. The Auburn Supermall, many restaurants, casinos, and other businesses are located within 10 minutes of Pacific Raceways.

Q. Can I camp at Pacific Raceways?
A. Camping is available during all multiple-day events. For the NHRA Northwest Nationals, camping fees must be paid in advance, due to strong demand and space availability. Camping for all other multiple-day races are paid at the gate on the day of the event.
Q. What food concessions are available?
A. A wide variety of foods are available from the Pacific Raceways concession stands, such as hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, ice cream, beef jerky and much more. There are two permanent concession stands located behind Grandstand B and next to Grandstand A. For larger events there are a number of independent vendors selling pizza, barbeque, and pretty much anything you can imagine.
Q. Is beer available at the track?
A. Yes. Beer and wine can be purchased at either of the permanent concessions stands, located behind Grandstand B and adjacent to Grandstand A.
Q. Are cameras (video or still) allowed at the races?
A. You are allowed to take video or still shots of the cars and drivers at any time from the grandstand seats or in the pits.
Q. If I am under 18, can I race?
A. Racers under the age of 18 must bring a parent or guardian, or bring a Parental Consent, Release And Waiver form signed by a parent or guardian, and notarized.
Q. Can I ride with a racer on the Drag Strip as a passenger?
A. Yes, if you are 16 or older and the vehicle runs the quarter-mile in 14 seconds or slower.
Q. How soon before the race should I plan on arriving at Pacific Raceways?
A. For most events the gates open well in advance of the start of the event. Check the Pacific Raceways schedule for event times. Allow sufficient travel time, as well as additional time to stroll about the display areas and the pits to visit with event participants.
Q. How long will it take me to get home after the race?
A. Take into consideration the number of people attending the event. The larger the event the more post-event vehicle traffic. Please FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF THE PARKING ATTENDANTS, which will aid in getting everyone home quicker. Major national events, such as the NHRA Northwest Nationals, will have police and security staff to safely direct traffic from the facility.
Q. Can I use my cell phone at Pacific Raceways?
A. Yes. Keep in mind that access declines as the number of people attending an event increases. Do not rely on your cell phone if you need to relay or receive important information.
Q. Are check cashing services available?
A. No. There are no check cashing facilities at Pacific Raceways.
Q. Are there ATM machines at Pacific Raceways?
A. Yes. There is an ATM machine in the Pacific Raceways Pro Shop, located directly behind Grandstand B, near the Drag Strip starting line.
Q. Does Pacific Raceways offer tours during non-event times?
A. No. There are no guest tours of the facility.
Q. How do I contact someone at the race in the event of an emergency?
A. During most events the Pacific Raceways offices have staff available, and can be reached by calling (253) 639-5927 ext. 0. Keep in mind that there may not always be track employees available to take outside calls. If you have a cell phone we recommend that you carry it with you in case you need to contacted.
Q. Is there a lost and found?
A. Yes. When items are turned in as being "Lost" they are normally kept at either the main Pacific Raceways offices or, on racing event days, in the Tower facility. Please contact any Pacific Raceways employee who will assist you.
Q. What happens if my child and I become separated in the crowd?
A. Contact a Pacific Raceways employee or security representative and supply them with a description of the child (i.e. name, age, color of hair, clothes they are wearing).
Q. Are ear plugs available?
A. Yes. You may purchase ear protection at the Pacific Raceways Pro Shop, located directly behind Grandstand B.
Q. Is there a radio broadcast of the events?
A. Yes. All track announcements can be heard on 540 AM. This is a local broadcast, and can only be heard within the facility.
Q. Where do I get my tickets at the track?
A. The Pacific Raceways spectator box office is located next to the spectator entrance, by the Drag Strip scoreboards. The competitor ticket office is located on the competitor entrance to the pit area. Both are easily visible upon entering the facility.
Q. Is there a ticket Will-Call at the track?
A. Yes. The Will-Call has clearly marked windows at the main ticket box office which is located north of, and adjacent to, the Drag Strip scoreboards at the main spectator entrance.
