Pacific Sportsman Nationals Results

August 21st through 23rd Pacific Raceways held their annual Pacific Sportsman Nationals. The anticipation was high for racers and spectators alike as they waited to see who would take home the big money prizes in both classes at the end of each night’s racing. The event was fun for all ages and a great success for Pacific Raceways’ and our racers.

Friday’s big winner in the Super Pro class was Steve Casner of Sheridan California who won the $5,000 prize. The $1,500 Super Pro runner up was Brush Prairie resident Tom Malicki. In the Pro class, the first place prize of $2,000 went to David Chun Jr. of Vancouver, and Dallas Glenn from Covington took home the runner up honors and the $600 prize.

Lake Tapps resident Terry Wilcox came in first and took home the $10,000 prize on Saturday night and Randy Johnson of Snohomish won $3,000 as the runner up in the Super Pro class. Jason Biscay of Rochester took home the first place prize of $4,000 in the Pro class, and the second place prize of $1,200 went to Allen Macham of Everett.

The $5,000 first place prize for the Super Pro class on Sunday went to Stefan Kondolay of Chilliwack B.C. The Super Pro runner up was Anacortes resident Brandon Spitali, who took home $1,500. Roy Freeman of Seattle was the winner in the Pro class and took home a prize of $2,000, and Marysville resident Tony Pearce was the runner up and won $600.
