Plenty of Racing Action at Historics

(KENT, Wash) – Hundreds of vintage race cars are at Pacific Raceways this weekend for the Mercedes Benz of Seattle Pacific Northwest Historics.  There are 15 races scheduled today (Saturday).  Racing takes place on the 2.25-mile road course until 5 p.m. today and then from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

 

Included in the racing schedule are Trans Am muscle cars from the late ‘60s, a 1980 McLaren M29, a 1971 Tyrrell Formula 1 car and hundreds of classic and vintage race cars.

 

Tickets are $25.  Included with the ticket are access to a car show and paddock.  There is also a vendor midway.  Between races, spectators can cross the track into the infield and watch racing on the back side of the track.
