Busy Week with Drags, Road Course and other Activity

(KENT, Wash) – It’s summertime and the living is fine…especially at Pacific Raceways.  The Kent facility has a number of events for fans who want to dig the sun and crave the cars!

On the fast 1320-foot drag strip, racing resumes on Wednesday with an open Test & Tune, the PRDC motorcycles, the High School Drag Series, and a make-up race for the Jr. Dragsters Land of the Leaders Challenge.  Racing begins at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.  At the last Wednesday Test & Tune we had an NHRA Competition Eliminator dragster, some Stock Eliminator machines and a large collection of fast cars and hot rods.

On Friday night, we are back with another open Test & Tune this time sharing the track with a Jr. Dragster race, the PRDC bikes, Car Club Challenge, and another race in the High School Series.  Saturday, it’s the bad boys and girls of the Auto Max USA Drag Race Series.  Gates on Friday and Saturday will open at 4 p.m. with racing until 11 p.m.

The historic 2.25-mile road course will host a ProFormance Race School session on Wednesday and Saturday.  Turn 2’s lapping day will take place on Thursday with the Audi Club running the road course on Friday.

The largest collection of Subaru cars on the coast is expected at the raceway on Saturday in Lot A and the upper paddock.  Sunday will feature the Supra Nationals in the upper paddock.

Grab your sun screen and come on down to the fastest track in the Northwest this weekend!
