Largest ET Drag Race This Weekend at Pacific Raceways
(KENT, Wash) – Over 525 of the top racers from around the Northwest are at Pacific Raceways this weekend for the NHRA Summit Racing Equipment Division 6 ET Finals. The Kent track is hosting the event, which runs through Sunday.
Racers qualified for the weekend race at their local NHRA drag strips from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia and Alberta. The 18 tracks represent the largest number of ET racers from around the Northwest. Each track had the opportunity to pick the top 58 racers from their weekly programs. A special race on Saturday – Race of Champions – will feature the top six racers from each track with the winners going to Pomona, CA in November.
Racers are competing in six classes: Super Pro; Pro; Sportsman; Motorcycle/Snowmobile; High School, Jr. Dragster. Gates open at 7:30 a.m. with racing each day beginning at 9 a.m. Single day spectator passes are $10.
