Historic Sports Cars at Pacific this Weekend
(KENT, Wash) – Vintage race cars from Lolas and Jaguars to Camaros and Mustangs will race for prestige at the 2012 SOVREN Fall Finale on Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 15-16) at Pacific Raceways.
The two-day event closes out the five-race season for the Society of Vintage Racing Enthusiasts in the Northwest. On hand this weekend will be five race groups featuring a variety of historic race cars from vintage open-wheel cars to Formula One. Included in the mix are the popular American muscle cars of the 1960s and ‘70s that raced in the Trans Am series.
Gates open each day at 7 a.m. with on-track action beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday morning sessions will include qualifying with race sessions Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning and afternoon.
