In Stock Eliminator, it was a battle of former Pacific Raceways track champions with Auburn’s Kelly Thomas winning in a double-breakout race over Jody Lang.  Another Kent track former champ, Mark Faul, took home Super Stock honors in a great final round win over Brush Prairie’ Sean Cour.  Both drivers ran right on their dial with Faul having a slight starting line advantage.

Seattle’s Barry Hobson put a huge hole-shot on Craig Anderson to win Top Sportsman.  Anderson, from Waxahachie, TX, ran right on his dial, but Hobson was better at the start in his 2006 Grand Am.  John Chitwood, from Saint Helens, OR, took the other fast class over red-lighting Dustin Hentges to win Top Dragster.

In Super Street, it was an all-Langley, BC final as Brad Vinje beat a fouling Steve Lowe for the Wally.  Super Gas was another all-Canadian final with Kelowna’s Mike Shannon beating Ken Mostowich, from Calgary, who turned on the red bulb.

Aaron Kindard pushed Steve Williams further under the index to win Super Comp with an 8.892 at 173.23 on an 8.90.  Williams was 8.70 at 181.01 miles per hour in a battle of Division 7 competitors.

Chris Bondy won his first race ever in Pro as he drove his 2007 Mustang GT over Auburn’s Jon Hatley.  In Super Pro, Dawson Creek’s Jamie Toelos used a better reaction time to beat fellow Canadian Mark Schuppener.  In Sportsman Motorcycle, Kevin Brennan didn’t decide to attend the Kent race until late in the week, but he made the trek from Chilliwack, BC pay off has he beat Yakima’s Jeff Havens in the money round on his ’92 Suzuki.
